Some thoughts on denial of criminal wars:
I have lived in Sweden for 76 years now. The country and its people are developing well:
Never have so many enjoyed such comfort,
owned so much,
traveled so much,
been so well educated!
had such good medical care!
In spite of these facts, there is anger seething and worries among many citizens about, what is considered, a forthcoming social and economic disaster.
It might be explained by:
1. The fast technological change, the internet, social media, artificial intelligence etc (causing a general destabilization of a unified philosophy)
2. The most important fact, though is 17 years of acceptance of, and participation in US criminal wars – which media falsely have branded ”humanitarian interventions”, ”war on terrorism”.
We have consequently developed a wide spread worry and upsetness about ”all these strangers”, suddenly appearing ”as from nowhere”.
Few citizens do really understand what enormous devastation the United States and its allies has created during wars in the Middle East.
The feeling of ”disaster” originally derives from the Great Lies of war:
As if Sweden (with its media and military force) can participate and morally support the war alliance in a 17-year of ”war for peace”, without consequences?
Now we have developed two furious, opposing political camps who blame each other.
One camp slanders the left and the migrants, and wildly exaggerates their faults and weaknesses. Some kind of ”stab in the back legend” has taken form.
The other camp is calling its opposition ”racists, nazis and the right-wing extremes”. Which is a bit of an ”ostrich act under humanitarian flag”.
In reality Sweden and its people have been a plaything of external forces, as well as of the media’s lies about the nature of the war.
The denial of criminal war creates a psychosis, infecting everyone, and in the long run leads also to civil war.
The question is thus:
how do we disperse with the lies, and get started in a peace dialogue?
